HOW DO I INSTALL A SCENARIO?
1) Open Powerhouse and click My Products.
2) Find the scenario you would like to install and click the arrow in the left-hand column. If there is an X instead of an arrow then the scenario has already installed.
3) The scenario will now download and install. When an X appears, it has installed and is ready to use.
HOW DO I FIND A SCENARIO IN TRAIN SIMULATOR?
1) Open Train Simulator.
2) Click Drive and then Standard.
3) Find the search bar at the top-right of the window and input the name of the scenario. All of our scenarios are individually numbered so the easiest way of doing this is to type APx where x is the number of the scenario. For example, for [38] 11:54 Carlisle - Leeds, you would search AP38.
4) Select the scenario in the search results and click Start.
WHAT MAKES A SCENARIO EASY, MEDIUM OR HARD?
Easy
Easy scenarios tend to feature few, if any, adverse signals.
Medium
Medium scenarios tend to feature adverse signals and any timetabled stops may require more skill to meet them.
Hard
Hard scenarios may feature shunting operations, plenty of adverse signals and any timetabled stops may require great skill to meet them.
WHERE DO I FIND THE SCENARIO BRIEF?
Upon loading one of our scenarios, press F1. This will bring up the briefing which contains all necessary information for you to begin the scenario and any booked timings.
HOW DO I UPDATE A SCENARIO?
From time to time, we will update scenarios to fix problems or change the rolling stock used in them. To see if there are any updates available for your purchased scenarios, please carry out the following instructions:
1) Open Powerhouse and click My Products.
2) Scroll through your scenarios and look for a clock icon in the left-hand column. This icon means an update is available.
3) Click the clock icon and confirm you would like to install the update. If the requirements for the scenario have changed and you are now missing some, you will be told this and asked to confirm that you would like to continue.
4) The update will now download and install. When the clock icon disappears and only an X appears, the update has installed and is ready to use.
HOW DO I UNINSTALL A SCENARIO?
1) Open Powerhouse and click My Products.
2) Find the scenario you would like to uninstall and click the X in the left-hand column.
3) Confirm you would like to uninstall the scenario and it will then be uninstalled.
WHY IS THE WEATHER IN A SCENARIO NOT AS ADVERTISED?
All of our scenarios use our Sky & Weather Enhancement Pack 2.0. If you do not have this pack installed, the scenario will still work but you will experience an unspecified default weather pattern.
WILL IT BE POSSIBLE TO PURCHASE ENHANCEMENT, SOUND OR ROLLING STOCK PACKS FROM POWERHOUSE?
Powerhouse has been tailor made for scenarios and we have no plans to offer our other products via it.
THE POWERHOUSE INSTALLER IS NOT LOADING OR PRODUCES AN ERROR AFTER DOUBLE CLICKING IT
Please try downloading the installer to your Desktop and double clicking it there.
POWERHOUSE IS SAYING I DON'T OWN ANY REQUIREMENTS BUT I KNOW I DO
1) Open Powerhouse and click Settings.
2) Go to where it says Railworks Directory and click Change.
3) Navigate to your Railworks directory and click Select Folder.
